Intermittent Connection to the Cloud

Hello All, I recently changed from esat bt to chorus ntl and I have the following connection problem that I’m looking for help with.

I went from a 7mb down (twisted copper wire) to a 15mb down (fibre backbone to coaxial) including my phone, TV, for less money!

My service was installed, and all went well, except for my desktop connection. I’m using a (chorus approved) Scientific Atlanta USB 2 wireless adaptor type DPW939 which connects to the chorus supplied Cisco Model DPC/EPC2425 DOCSIS
